Industry-specific data and Microsoft expertise
A Microsoft and analytics platform is configured very differently for a manufacturer than for a bank. Veratas brings sector-specific data models, reporting patterns, integration playbooks, and compliance baselines, not generic implementations applied to every client.
The same platform, configured for your sector
Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 are common building blocks. What they hold and how they are governed is not.
Two organisations can run the same Microsoft technology and need almost nothing in common. A manufacturer measures yield, scrap, and on-time delivery against a bill of materials. A retailer measures margin, stock turn and demand across channels. A financial services firm is shaped first by its regulator. The platform components are shared, but the data model, the reporting layer, and the controls around them are sector-specific work.
Compliance baselines differ just as sharply. Healthcare data carries HIPAA obligations that retail data does not. Financial services answers to bodies such as the FCA and FINRA and to SOC 2 expectations. Public sector bodies often require Government Community Cloud tenants and comprehensive audit logging. Designing these controls in from the start is far cheaper than retrofitting them once a platform is live and in use.
Veratas brings tested configuration patterns to each sector below, refined across enterprise data and Microsoft programmes. That does not mean a template. It means we start from a known baseline of data models, integration approaches, and compliance controls that fit the sector, then adapt them to your systems, your reporting cycle, and the decisions your teams actually need to make.
Industries Veratas serves
Each sector below comes with its own data patterns, reporting needs, and compliance baselines. These are the industries where Veratas brings genuine, tested depth.
Financial services
Governed risk, finance and customer data on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, with Microsoft Purview lineage for FCA, FINRA and SOC 2 reporting.
Public sector
Case management, grants and finance on Dynamics 365, with secure, sovereign Azure and transparent, auditable reporting.
Manufacturing
Production, supply chain and finance unified on Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Fabric, with analytics for yield, scrap and OEE.
Healthcare
Clinical, operational and finance data on secure, HIPAA-aligned Azure, with Microsoft Purview governance for sensitive data.
Retail and distribution
Omnichannel commerce on Dynamics 365 with one view of stock and the customer, and Power BI for margin and demand.
Energy and utilities
Grid, asset and sensor data unified on Microsoft Fabric, with reliable pipelines for asset-heavy operations.
What recurs across every sector
Sectors differ, but the foundations of a credible platform do not.
Whatever the industry, three things have to be right. Data has to be modelled into structures that report cleanly, rather than queried straight from transactional tables. Numbers have to reconcile back to source, so finance and operations stop disputing whose figure is correct. And security and governance have to be designed in, not bolted on, because retrofitting controls after launch is disruptive and expensive.
Veratas treats those foundations as the constant. The sector-specific layer (the metrics, the reporting cadence, the regulatory controls) sits on top of a consistent engineering approach. That is why an engagement in healthcare and one in retail share the same delivery discipline even though the outputs look nothing alike. It is also why we can move into a new client environment quickly: the playbook is proven, and only the configuration is bespoke.
